About Rio

A classically trained concert pianist, Rio made his Carnegie Hall debut at 9 years old. He has performed twice at the worlds most prestigious venue.  Rio has garnered numerous awards, placed in four international pianos competitions, and won “Outstanding Instrumentalist” at the 2012 Young Artist Awards.  Superstar Alicia Keys and Ariana Grande both tweeted about him sending tens of thousands to his website.

Rio’s first acting job at 9, was portraying the autistic son of Rumer Willis’ character in the award winning short film, “Six Letter Word”. “Six Letter Word” went on to screen at Cannes.  He followed that with Universal Studio’s remake of “The Little Rascals Save the Day” playing the skinny bully “Woim” .

In 2013 Rio shot 7 sitcom episodes, and 2 pilots. He has recurred on Disney’s “Kickin it!”, guest starred on “Good Luck Charlie”, “Switched at Birth”, Nickelodeon’s “See Dad Run”, & “Marvin Marvin”. He is soon set to voice a character in a major animated feature and watch for him in the new Nickelodeon Series “Bella and the Bulldogs”.

A voracious artist Rio is never without a sketchpad where he creates characters and voices.

Rio resides with his family in Los Angeles. He is represented by Pallas Management,  Abrams Artists Agency and Arlene Thornton & Associates.
